Somaliland will Attend on Summit for Livestock Exporting

Somaliland will for the first time participate in summit for livestock exporting nations in Hudet, Ethiopia. The conference will will gather together 550 delegates from East Africa to discuss animal husbandry, range and environmental issues in the region.
The conference will gather together interest parties from Kenya, Djibouti, Somaliland, Ethiopia and international agencies.
According to news gathered from the office of the coordinator for the UN-OCHA in Addis Ababa, the conference is designed to explore the rural communities and their livestock concerns in the region.
The chairperson of the organising committee for the meeting, Mr. Alistair Covilliers stated that the meeting " is the largest to be conducted in the region and will discuss the pressing issues concerning local communities whose principal existence is based on animal husbandry and livestock"
According to Mr.Covilliers, the conference has been proposed and instigated by the UN-OCHA communications department.
